Principles & Techniques for Safe, Successful Endo

CE Credits: 6 CEU

This lecture is designed to address critical problems encountered when performing root canal therapy using modern techniques to solve them. Using state of the art reciprocating and rotary instruments and techniques should allow the clinician to deal with diverse intracanal obstructions and curvatures in order to clean and shape the root canal efficiently to the root canal terminus.

Objectives

At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Learn techniques to locate and negotiate the root canal to the apex.
  • Understand the use of reciprocation and rotary instruments, with their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Learn how to efficiently determine and maintain a correct working length.
  • Learn and utilize agitation and activation irrigation methods and technology to improve dissolution of organic tissue and removal of biofilm from the root canal system.
